Outdoor Adventures for Our Little Ones

At our center, we recognize the significant role of inclusive activities in promoting the holistic development of babies. That’s why we include them in specially designed activities that are both fun and suitable for their age. Details of these activities are shared with parents every Sunday through our app. Please ensure to complete and sign the necessary forms to allow your baby to join in the fun!

To maintain the highest level of safety, detailed information about locations, routes, and other specifics will only be shared through the parent app with families who are participating in the program.

Outdoor Learning Information

Welcome to our Outdoor Learning Program! Here’s what you need to know to ensure your child enjoys a safe and enriching experience:

Safety and Supervision

  • Lead Educators: Miss Maria is primarily responsible for guiding the children during outdoor activities. Miss Roxana will occasionally step in as her substitute.
  • Supporting Educator: Miss Joselin always accompanies the children on trips, ensuring continuous care and attention.
  • Safety Ratios: We maintain a strict ratio of 1 educator to 6 children for optimal safety and engagement.
  • Child Management Methods: For our youngest participants, we use safety harness backpacks, while older children are grouped with a safety rope. All children wear high-visibility safety vests to enhance their visibility.

Outdoor Schedule

  • Car Excursions: Depending on our curriculum, we schedule 2 to 3 car outings per week. Specific days and destinations will be communicated through our parent app every Sunday.
  • Walking Outings: We plan 1 to 2 walking trips each week, curriculum-dependent, with details provided in the parent app each Sunday.
 

Daily Outdoor Activities Timeline

  • 9:00 AM – 9:30 AM: Departure from school.
  • 9:45 AM – 10:00 AM: Arrival at the destination.
  • 10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Time for snacks, diaper changes, and bathroom breaks.
  • 10:30 AM – 10:45 AM: Outdoor circle time.
  • 10:50 AM – 11:30 AM: Engaging with the environment through exploration, nature play, and free time.
  • 11:30 AM – 11:45 AM: Diaper checks, bathroom breaks, and hand washing.
  • 11:45 AM – 12:30 PM: Lunch.
  • 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM: Return to school or prepare for outdoor nap time (once a week, weather permitting, notified via the parent app).
  • 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM: Nap or rest time.
  • 3:00 PM – 3:45 PM: Diaper change, bathroom break, and snack time.
  • 3:45 PM: Return to school ritual (if applicable) or free play.
  • 5:00 PM: Clean up time.

 

Class Schedules and Locations

Details regarding the timing and locations of outdoor classes are exclusively shared through our parent app, ensuring the privacy and security of our children.

For the safety of our children, exact addresses, locations, class details, and more will be shared only through the parent app, directly with families participating in the program.
